• Communicating with you about booking confirmation, changes, and cancellations (WhatsApp, phone, email)

4. Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed under KVKK Art. 5/2, on the basis that processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, necessary to provide the service you requested, or based on our legitimate interests. Where explicit consent is required, checking the KVKK consent box on the booking or contact form constitutes that consent.

5. Data Transfers

Brayas Travel shares an operational database with Demiralp Tur, the partner brand running the same backend; your booking and account data is processed and stored on this shared infrastructure.

Your data may also be shared with payment providers to process payments, with authorized public authorities where legally required, with our vehicle/driver suppliers on a limited basis to deliver the service, and with the cloud infrastructure providers we use. Any such transfer is carried out in line with the relevant provisions of KVKK.

6. How We Collect Your Data

We collect your personal data electronically through the booking and contact forms on our website, WhatsApp correspondence, phone calls, and the customer account creation process.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing, subject to the statutory limitation periods set out in applicable law. Once that period ends, your data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed
• Request information about it if it has been processed
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad
• Request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate
• Request deletion or destruction of your data within the conditions set by law
• Request that correction or deletion be notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred
• Object to a result that is to your detriment arising solely from automated analysis of your data
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing
